About Us

ELIZABETH DELONE PARANHOS

Elizabeth is a climate change and clean air expert with a deep understanding of the oil and natural gas sector.  She has extensive experience helping clients develop and implement policies to reduce methane, air toxics, and other impacts associated with natural gas development.  She and William Boyd formed Energy Innovation Partners in 2014 to provide expert legal and policy advice on clean energy, climate and environmental policies.  Elizabeth graduated from New York University school of law and clerked for the Honorable Stanley Sporkin, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

WILLIAM BOYD

William is Co-Founder of Energy Innovation Partners and a tenured professor at the University of Colorado Law School. Professor Boyd received his Ph.D. from the Energy & Resources Group at UC-Berkeley and his J.D. from Stanford Law School. After law school, Professor Boyd clerked for Judge Diana Gribbon Motz of the United State Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Professor Boyd then served as American Association for the Advancement of Science Congressional Science Fellow and Counsel on the Democratic minority staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment & Public Works. He then practiced energy, environmental and climate change law with the firm of Covington & Burling LLP in Washington DC.
